When you use the itinerary planner, we store the trip data you provide — including destination, travel dates, budget, and preferences — to generate and display your itinerary.
When you publish a post in the Community, that post (including its text, category, and state tag) is stored in our database and made publicly visible to all Sanchari users.
Your email is used solely for authentication — to log you in and verify your identity. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.
Trip data you provide is used to generate personalised AI itineraries via Google Gemini. This data may be sent to Google's API as part of the generation process.
Community posts are used to populate the community feed. We do not use your posts for advertising or profiling purposes.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.
Sanchari uses Supabase for user authentication, database storage, and file management. Data you submit — including your email address, trip inputs, and community posts — is stored on Supabase's infrastructure. Supabase's privacy policy governs how they handle that data.
Sanchari uses Google Gemini (via Google's Generative AI API) to generate travel itineraries. The text prompts and inputs you provide are sent to Google's servers for processing. Google's terms of service and privacy policy apply to this data.

Sanchari uses functional cookies to maintain your login session. These are session-based and are required for the platform to function correctly.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics scripts that profile your behaviour across other websites.
We retain your account and trip data for as long as your account remains active.
Community posts remain visible after account inactivity but will be removed upon a verified account deletion request.
If you close your account, we will delete your email and associated data within 30 days of your request, unless we are legally required to retain it.
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate data, and request deletion of your account and associated data.
